Rashidi Yekini was a Nigerian footballer whose professional career spanned for more than two decades. The former Super Eagles striker died four years ago in Ibadan, Oyo State, after a brief but serious illness. This is his mother…she sells bread for survival. Wow!

Making the call to support Yekini's mum, The international coordinator of Voice of Change Network Int'l, Mr Azemobor Gregory, in a chat with VOCNEWS, noted that Nigerians ought to support this hapless woman considering the immense contribution her deceased son had made to the Nigeria sport industry. " I think this woman needs our love and support at this age of her life. I want to enjoin the government and other public spirited individuals to reach out in love and support her" Azemobor urged

" The support we give to her now will bring great relief and succour to her since the demise of her son and breadwinner. Nigerians, please let us help this woman. we should not allow her to die in poverty"
