I do categorically feel noble and fulfilled when I do  good things to others. For this reason, there must be some psychological benefits to helping others in need? But how can we know for sure? The best way to lead a meaningful and fulfilled life is in the kind deeds of helping other people or volunteering to support a noble cause.
It only requires a common sense to interpolate the scientific facts about the Benefit of doing good as instituted by God himself. For some time now, I have been in a school of thought contributing immensely to renew the mind of God’s people on the need for them to do good to the less privileged around them. But basically, my major concern are the people of God (Christians and Muslims) who are supposed to be role models demonstrating the life of Christ and Muhammad.
“The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles” teaches that “JESUS ‘went about doing good’ (Acts 10:38), yet was despised for it”
Prophet Muhammad was also on evangelism testifying what God told him “Allah says: (Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents) [Surat An-nisaa, 36]”
However, all these proven facts didn’t seem to have a positive effect on the general mental transformation of God’s children or have even broken them from the verdicts and bondages of religious indoctrinations and dogmas orchestrated by so many self-called/appointed church and mosque leaders.
The only God in you is the good you do to others. As you extend a hand of fellowship to help a poor person around you, the host of heaven is always rejoicing for your sake. If you cannot help financially, you can offer your help in kind by becoming a registered volunteer. This will always remain your testimony because of the last day God will ask you “When I came in form of a poor man and was hungry, did you give me food”. Tithing is not only taking your one tenth to the church, you can also identify someone in need and solve his problem with your tithe; he could even be within your family. God will be more than happy to replenish  your purse in billion fold.
Recently, I conducted a self-study test and realized that volunteering to help others in need benefits both the helper and the helped. It seems to confirm that helping people (in the right way) improves the love that shower on you with open doors of blessings– I guess you don’t need to go into the laboratory-workshop to measure the magnitude of what God will give you back in return.
Volunteering to help the less privileged in our society without any ugly motive is a divine calling and a true ministry of living the God’s kind of life.
"If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if a person does not love his brother, whom he has seen, then he cannot love God, whom he has not seen..1 John 4:20…CJB"
Make up your mind today to be committed in living the God’s kind of life. Break that bondage and separates yourself from the forces of evil and embrace the forces of doing good. Join to volunteer with The Project-Help-A-Child Team and live a fulfilled life.
